A disaster & Pics

Not wasting any words on the ridiculous reasons why, the first day of our campaign can be summerized as a disaster. We were just able to play the first of our two games, the Kill-Team match. It was won by the loyal alliance. Allthough this game was very funny and very fast, the campaign-start could not have gone any worse. Disappointed, I hope to find some motivation to set up a second meeting.

But the upside is, that I painted some of my Space Marines and I am currently working on my librarian (pics later).

So finally my battery arrived and I started taking pictures. I have to apologize for the quality of (some) of the pictures, I am a total photographies noob. But I am learning and build me a photo-box. So here are a few pictures of a Sgt. and the new ruin I painted. Other pictures are comming up...

sun, bbq and no predator

yes,yes,... as expected I did not find any time to assemble my new predator during my vacation. The sun, the beach, the girl(friend), the bbq and a lot (!) of beachball did not allow me to spend any minute on the tank*. But back home I painted a ruin I build two weeks ago and I am pretty pleased with it. But the nicest thing is, that I finally was able to order me a new battery for my digi-cam and I can't wait to get it and finally start shooting some pictures of my tactical squad, the ruin and anything else that does not take cover in time! ...


* and of course my vacation-reading 'Feyman lectures on Physics'

blastscape

tomorrow the new blastscape will be available in our local GW Store, since their number is limited i preordered me one package and hope to find the time tomorrow to pick them up. I am a little bit excited about them, I hope they are as cool as the moonscape I allready have. Normally I am no big fan of buying scenery and I try to build scenery myselfe as often as possible, but these moonscape have been so cheap an perfekt looking that I could not resist. I am pretty confident that the blastscape are also very nice... so maybe a quick review tomorrow
